Responsibilities
The Office and Admissions Manager is primarily responsible for organising and supervising all of the administrative activities to facilitate the smooth running of the school, including managing all enrolments in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with ESF admissions policy.
Main Accountabilities
- Lead and manage the daily operation of the office and reprographic team to ensure resources are utilized cost effectively and efficiently.
- Oversee and manage the Attendance System in monitoring student absences on a daily basis.
- Coordinate issues related to site management in the General Office.
- Provide team support in building and facilities projects and events on the school premises.
- Manage all enrolment queries and applications in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct/arrange regular tours and information sessions for prospective families and students.
- Organise and arrange interviews/assessment for applicants.
- Manage waiting lists relating to availability of enrolment places and advise the Principal/Vice-Principal on student numbers and waiting lists.
- Ensure the ESF central admissions timeline and deadlines for Year 1/Year 7 applications are met.
- Represent the school at official meetings of the ESF Admissions Group.
- Provide PA Support to Principal and the School Council.
Requirements
Competencies required:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with fluency in Cantonese highly desirable.
- Good understanding of ESF admissions policy and procedures.
- High level interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work with difficult people/ customers.
- Good IT skills including word processing, database and spreadsheets (experience with Advanced Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications desirable).
- Reliability; initiative and problem-solving skills.
- High level organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience required:
- Business or office Administration degree or similar course.
- 5 years relevant experience in a complex customer service role with administrative support experience.
