Jackie To is our school PTA administrator. To contact her at the school PTA office, email pta@peakschool.net or telephone 2849 8376. The opening hours of the PTA in school are 8:00am to 4:00pm.
The PTA is an important and valued link between home and school and makes a significant social and financial contribution to the school community. All parents at Peak School now automatically become PTA parent members and pay the membership fee set annually by the PTA's Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee of the PTA is made up of parents who are elected each year at its Annual General Meeting. The Executive Committee consists of a Chairperson, vice-
Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary, and up to eight parent and three teacher representatives who meet monthly, together with the Principal, to decide on activities and to administer school events. The Chairperson of the PTA, always a parent representative, is a member of the Committee of Parents, which comprises all ESF PTA Chairpersons and meets termly to give advice and comments regarding the affairs of the ESF Foundation as a whole.
The PTA also nominates one parent representative to sit on the School Council, which is
effectively the Governing Body of The Peak School. In recent years, the Chairperson of the PTA has been this representative. The parents of Peak School have also elected one person to be the second member of the School Council. The School Council discusses all aspects of school policy and management and it is through its representatives on the School Council that PTA opinion relating to school affairs may be heard.

In addition to the formal committee, the PTA could not function without the large army of helpers that are always willing to help out when the need arises. The PTA has started to formalise that role by having a register of VIP's (or Volunteers in Peak School) and their particular interests. There is a registration form in the documents below which you can fill in and return if you would like to become a Peak School VIP.
