Ruth Maclennan

I have been teaching for 7 years and started my career in my home county of Cornwall, England. I worked in similar size school to Peak for 4 years and taught in years 1, 2 and 4. During my time in Cornwall I was Phase leader, subject coordinator of History, Geography and Science and was also the liaison contact for children in care. In 2008 I decided I fancied a new challenge in warmer climates and moved to Dubai where I worked as head of year 2 in a large international school. I have been in Peak school since August 2010 and have really enjoyed the move and adjusted quickly to the damp weather, it's just like home!
